EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Qualifications: Completion of or actively working toward completion of secondary education with training in lifesaving, CPR, and first aid.

Knowledge of: Organizational policies, procedures, goals, and objectives*; pool rules and regulations*; water safety practices and procedures; emergency medical care procedures; CPR; basic lifesaving.

Skill in: swimming; executing lifesaving techniques, administering first aid and CPR.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, YMCA, or other approved training by Health Department; CPR, and First Aid.

SALARY/BENEFITS

$15.00 to $19.00 per hour
