City of Wapakoneta – Wellfield Expansion
The City of Wapakoneta is working to improve the resiliency and reliability of the source water for our potable drinking water. The city currently operates two groundwater well fields that continue to reliably serve as our drinking water source.
In addition, we are undertaking a wellfield expansion by adding three new wells at the Schaub well field that provides redundancy to our existing wells and increases our overall capacity as we look to the future. The work consists of three new groundwater wells and associated pumps and pipeline to the water treatment plant.
Wapakoneta’s future is bright as we continue to serve the community with safe and reliable drinking water.
