JOB SUMMARY
The Wapakoneta Police Department offers full testing services for the position of Police Officer through National Testing Network (NTN). To register with NTN and schedule a test, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select ‘Find Jobs’, then select Law Enforcement Jobs and sign up for Wapakoneta.
When you visit the www.nationaltestingnetwork.com website:
Complete the NTN registration process and schedule your test.
Review all information related to the Wapakoneta Police Officer, including minimum requirement, salary and benefits.
Review detailed information about the testing process.
Review the Frequently Asked Questions and take an online practice test (if desired).
Upon completion of your scheduled exam, scores are automatically forwarded to the Wapakoneta Police Department. Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry level exam will be placed on Wapakoneta’s eligibility list. The Wapakoneta Police Department will contact candidates on the list and will invite them to participate in further stages
of the selection process.
There are two options available for testing, you can either test at home or at a testing center. The closest testing center to our agency is Rhodes State College.
You will also need to fill out a City of Wapakoneta Employee Application. Applications can be found at www.Wapakoneta.net under the Resources tab or the application is attached to the job listing posted under NTN. If you would like credit for military service, OPOTA certificate or having a degree; please attach the paperwork with your application

Prefer that applicants have obtained or currently enrolled in a program to recieve their Basic Police Officer Certification.
