JOB SUMMARY
METER READER I –ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT
The City is seeking an individual to fill a full-time position of meter reader I in the Electric Department. Individuals considered for this position must have a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Successful individual will work under general supervision. The responsibilities include reading water and electric meters, log and check readings for billing, troubleshoot accounts, complete work orders, shut off/restore services and perform general labor duties as assigned.
The successful individual shall work under the supervision of Mr. Levi Cecil, Electric Department Superintendent. The Electric Department is located at 251 Industrial Drive. Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM., Monday through Friday.
This position is covered under Pay Range 15 ($16.72/hr. to $19.74/hr.). This is a position within the collective bargaining unit.

SALARY/BENEFITS
$16.72 per hour with step increases.
This position is under the Public Employee Retirement System.
