Silver Street Reconstruction (Van Buren Street to N. Water Street)The reconstruction of Silver Street between Van Buren Street and N. Water Street will commence on Monday, April 4th. The project’s first phase will include the removal of certain trees, followed by the pouring of footers for outlet pipes, then the replacement of the sanitary sewer main. New water lines will be included with this project along with a complete roadway reconstruction.
During the construction, through traffic will be maintained while directional movement may be limited or restricted at certain critical times. The completion date is tentatively scheduled for November 4, 2022.
