What is Teen Green?

Teen Green is a teen volunteer group created to assist the Wapakoneta City Tree Commission. Teen Green helps with plantings, arbor day celebrations, and other civic duties.

Teen Green was created in 2007 by four original members: Chad Downing, Garrett Lange, Madison Reudabusch, and Tyler Preston. The idea for the group came from Tree Commission chairman Scott Risner. The group grew from four members to twelve in one year. This year a new group of individuals has joined Teen Green to make the group grow to 26. This group is looking forward to more projects such as plantings, upkeep of the Tree Commission Website, and many more. For more information on Teen Green contact Scott Risner or Chad Downing.
